Job summary

BRINC Drones is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure every product meets stringent quality standards for life‑saving drones. You will perform in‑process and final inspections, identify defects, and drive corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.

You will collaborate with Quality, Test, and Design Engineering to define critical quality characteristics and measurement methods, ensuring reliable hardware for mission‑critical use.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a technician in the aerospace, defence or medical industry.
• 2+ years reading/interpreting work instructions, engineering drawings, and/or inspection plans.
• 2+ years using hand tools.
• 2+ years using calibrated tools (height gauges, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches).
• 2+ years of experience with RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Use metrology equipment to ensure product performance for complex hardware.
• Report non‑conformances and contain suspect material.
• Read/interpret work instructions and drawings to define inspections.
• Perform in‑process and final inspections for assembled products and subassemblies.
• Develop SOPs for inspectors/technicians to follow.
• Support MRB discussions to determine dispositions for nonconforming material.
• Partner with manufacturing to implement corrective actions when defects are root caused.
