Meyer Tool, Inc. Cincinnati, OH is seeking a quality inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections across composite and metal components.

You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, and ensure conformance to AS9100 quality standards while collaborating with a team to meet schedules. The role requires 5 years in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, GD&T familiarity, and experience with micrometers, calipers, and CMM/FARO arms.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ITAR US Person definition compliance required.
• 5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to lead teams or projects to on-schedule results.
• Effective communication across multiple levels of the company.
• Vision 20/25 or better.
• Familiar with GD&T principles.
• Knowledge of precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Competitive, willing to learn.
• Safety sensitive position with pre-employment drug testing.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints and models; use inspection devices and procedures.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality and functional performance.
• Inspect components with precision measuring tools and verify locations, parallelism, height, angles, and shapes.
• Conduct process and product audits; suggest changes to standards and procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports and document nonconformances or rework.
• Investigate production issues related to tooling, materials, or procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervisors or quality engineers; escalate as needed.
• Support MTI’s quality objectives and culture; contribute to cost, quality, and schedules.
