Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a 3rd shift Inspector to perform detailed quality inspections in the cell/department. You will verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions while maintaining safe operations.

You will document findings, report discrepancies, and ensure calibration of inspection tools and records. A high school diploma or GED with GD&T knowledge is required, along with basic math and data entry proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be skilled in blue print reading.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals, and metric conversions.
• Data entry in quality databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in the inspection cell/department per drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety policies.
• Use standard inspection equipment and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Document findings and ensure quality records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements and comply with procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and gauges.
