Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Product Inspector for the 3rd shift to monitor line quality on ready-to-eat processing lines and ensure products meet specifications. You will verify metal detectors, sample products, and release output based on MPR, AW and PH data.

The role requires basic processing experience and pallet jack familiarity, with a 3rd shift schedule, paid overtime as needed, and a $19.00 per hour wage plus $1.00 shift differential for the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 6 months processing experience preferred.
• Pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification checks on the metal detector.
• Gather random samples and perform MPR (moisture protein ratio), AW (water activity) and PH (acidity/alkalinity) analysis in accordance with written procedures.
• Release product based on the results of MPR, AW and PH samples.
• Ensure sanitary handling procedures in all activities.
• Inform Management of any Food Safety/Quality issues or of any processes which have become noncompliant with specified requirements.
