Responsibilities include communicating quality requirements, documenting quality records, performing first-inspection, gauging, and isolating nonconforming parts. A high school diploma or GED is required, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and ability to use quality tools like Vernier calipers and height gauges.
• Basic knowledge of Word/Excel for quality logs.
• Ability to understand part function and make quality decisions.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation to Erie, PA location.
• Positive attitude and good teamwork and communication.
• Able to read and follow English instructions.
• Excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quality requirements to Machine Operators and Supervisors.
• Facilitate quality documentation as needed.
• File and store production and inspection documents.
• Perform first inspection of part and document result.
• Perform in-process attribute/functional gauging.
• Isolate and document nonconforming product.
• Sort and certify rejected non-conforming product.
• Perform related duties as needed and assigned.
