Position: Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector evaluates whether detail & assembly parts and test articles meet approved drawings and specifications, adhering to NAT quality management systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-process, first article, and final inspections, including customer presentations.
2. Validate physical characteristics, processing requirements, and data certifications of complex parts.
3. Ensure manufacturing documentation is complete, accurate, and conforms to drawings and procedures.
4. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality management.

Safran Cabin NAT seeks service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Proficiency in inspecting parts with gauges, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and Faro Arm.
• Experience in documenting findings and completing First Article Reports (FAI) using AS9102 forms.
• Ability to write non-conformance tags.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ethical judgment regarding parts and processes.
• 10+ years' experience in mechanical inspection within aerospace manufacturing.
