Job summary

AMETEK Inc. in Smithfield, UT is seeking a Quality Inspector on the 2nd shift (Tue–Fri, 4 PM–2 AM). You will perform new and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling of standard parts to ensure quality and conformance.

The role requires 0–3 years of manufacturing inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T. You will work in a production environment with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of manufacturing inspection experience.
• Knowledge of inspection methodology.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Use measurement techniques, metrology, and blueprint reading to verify dimensions.
• May perform first article and first piece approval.
• Develop corrective action responses.
• Perform inspection duties as required.
• Support quality improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
• Assist supervisor and Quality Engineer as required.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.
