Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services, in partnership with a Peosta manufacturer, seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector on 2nd shift. You will perform inspections across processes, read blueprints, and document results to ensure parts meet quality requirements.

Training will precede independent work; overtime may be required. Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, and capable of using precision tools and equipment after training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use inspection equipment after training.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work a 10-hour shift with overtime on some Fridays and Saturdays.
• Previous inspection experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections from first-piece to final audits.
• Read blueprints and specs to verify dimensions and quality.
• Complete PPAP/ISIR/APQP related audits and documentation.
• Use calipers, protractors, micrometers, gaging, and CMM equipment.
• Document inspection results with SPC data and trend analysis.
• Support calibration and corrective actions when issues arise.
• Communicate inspection results and production issues with the team.
• Follow safety, quality, and ISO policies.
