Vorteqcoil is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor and evaluate products for quality against spec sheets. You will operate lab equipment, test paint properties, read specifications, and prepare data sheets for production runs.

On 2nd shift (2pm-11pm) in Woodstock, IL, the role requires 2+ years of QA experience in manufacturing, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of quality experience in steel, coating, or manufacturing
• Proficient reading and writing
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy materials
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends
• Exposure to a production environment
• Comfort with a calculator and data entry
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and evaluate products for quality specifications
• Operate lab equipment and learn testing procedures
• Test paint properties (viscosity, temperature) and verify application parameters
• Read and verify supplier Product Specification Sheets
• Prepare Lab Data Sheets and paperwork for production runs
• Set up orders for the next shift and label samples
• Communicate with customers and vendors when needed
• Troubleshoot quality issues and support line personnel
