Job summary

Barnes Aerospace in Warren, MI is seeking a Quality Inspector to measure and inspect precision parts using CMMs and hand tools. You will interpret drawings and CAD models and perform First Piece, In-process, and Final inspections to ensure conformance.

You will collaborate with production teams, apply ISO 9001/AS 9100 knowledge, and maintain meticulous records while solving measurement issues with precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Quality experience in aerospace or general manufacturing environment with knowledge of ISO 9001/AS 9100 is a plus.
• Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes, and other measuring tools.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations for dimensional measurements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot measurement issues.
