Job summary

Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC seeks a Quality Inspector for the weekend days shift in Thornton, CO. You will routinely inspect incoming and in-process parts using programmable CMMs and other inspection tools, read GD&T, and support NCR/FAIR processes to ensure production flow.

The role requires independent time management and adherence to ISO 9001 standards. Qualifications include 1–3+ years as a Quality Inspector in machining, HS diploma or GED, and experience with micrometers, calipers,

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years as quality inspector in ISO 9001 machining environments.
• Experience with manual inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• GD&T training and/or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect incoming and in-process parts using CMMs and inspection tools.
• Support NCR for incoming parts and FAIR for in-process parts.
• Assist inspections for operations and warehouse as needed.
• Read and understand part prints including GD&T.
• Work independently, manage time, and maintain clean work area.
• Use SPC as required.

Pay Range: $22 -$28 / hour, based on qualifications and experience

Weekend Days Shift Hours: Fridays-Sundays, 7:00am - 7:30pm

Weekend Days Shift pays 12% shift differential for hours worked on Weekend Days shift

Quality Inspector (Weekend Days Shift) Job Responsibilities:

• Routinely inspect incoming and in-process parts by utilizing programmable CMMs, optical measurement systems and other inspection tools
• Support NCR process for incoming parts and FAIR process for incoming/in-process parts
• Support inspections for Operations and Warehouse as needed
• Read and understand part prints including GD&T
• Work independently and manage time to ensure the flow of production
• Use SPC as required
• Keep work area organized at all times
• Regularly lift 30 lbs. of raw materials or machine parts with or without accommodation
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Quality Inspector (Weekend Days Shift) Qualifications

• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• 1-3+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an ISO 9001 machining environment
• Experience with manual inspection/measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers and gauges
• Ability to use programmable Zeiss CMM (with CALYPSO software) (preferred)
• GD&T training and/or certification (preferred)
• Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-verify
