Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Quality Inspector (Avery Creek) for 1st shift. The role performs final and in-process inspections to ensure product conformance, conducts containment actions, and supports continuous quality improvement across multiple product lines.

Applicants should have an associate degree or manufacturing experience, familiarity with ENOVIA/Plant Order Manager, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. 50-mile radius relocation note applies.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate’s degree or 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and work with hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
• Experience with ENOVIA/Plant Order Manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process quality inspections to ensure product conformance.
• Conduct containment actions for quality issues identified internally and via warranty claims.
• Support Quality Engineering to improve CONC, Warranty PPM, Final Yield and supplier PPM.
• Input quality data into databases and software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1).
• Interact with front end engineering to resolve defects and verify specifications.
