Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Avery Creek, NC (2nd Shift) is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform final and in-process inspections and containment activities to ensure product conformance to specifications. The role supports continuous quality improvements and data-driven reporting across multiple product lines.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of quality inspection experience or an Associate degree, and must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

2-year Associate’s degree or high school diploma with 1 year of manufacturing experience.
At least 1 year of quality inspection experience.
No relocation; within 50 miles of Avery Creek, NC; military candidates exempt from area restriction.
Eaton does not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

Perform final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines to ensure quality.
Contain quality issues, inspect suspect product and validate processes.
Support quality engineering to improve CONC, Warranty PPM, yield and supplier metrics.
Input quality data into databases and software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1).
Enforce ISO 9001 procedures and collaborate with engineering to resolve defects.
