Job summary

Eaton in Avery Creek, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector for 2nd shift to perform final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines, ensuring conformance to specification. The role includes containment actions, data entry, and collaboration with Quality Engineering to drive corrective actions.

Main tasks include monitoring quality procedures under ISO 9001, input of data into various systems, and supporting ongoing process improvements. Core hours are 4:00pm–2:30am with $23/hour.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate’s degree OR High School diploma with 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year Quality Inspection experience.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or related work-authorization programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines to ensure quality products.
• Provide containment actions for quality issues and validate processes for suspect product.
• Support Quality Engineering to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Document quality data in databases & tools (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM).
• Enforce ISO 9001 quality procedures and assist in problem solving with engineering.
