Position: Quality Inspector - Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 3pm

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector is an entry-level position designed to learn about quality processes and the machinery involved in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process quality inspections of manufacturing machines.
• Assist with general plant housekeeping inside and outside.
• Perform quality audits, including GMPs, Glass & Brittle Plastics, Pest Control, etc.
• Stack off from die cutters or folder gluers as needed.
• Strip and separate die-cut parts from sheets, as needed.
• Unload corrugated materials from machines, as needed.
• Support Lead Quality Auditor and Tier 1 Customer Quality Coordinator as required.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Work safely and efficiently following company policies.
• Overtime may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Previous quality inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to react quickly and make adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals; capable of writing routine reports and speaking effectively before groups.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with various units.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and handle standardized problems.
