Job summary

J&O Plastics Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee real-time inspection on the production floor and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. You will review first-article inspections, set-up approvals, line clearances and lead in-line audits while serving as a quality ambassador between production and quality teams.

The role reports to the Quality Control Specialist. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 3–5 years in quality inspection in plastics

Qualifications

• Experience performing in-line audits and inspections to ensure adherence to visual, dimensional and functional quality
• Ability to interpret work instructions, product specs and safety rules
• Experience with first-article inspections, line clearances and setup approvals

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform in-line audits and inspections of plastic components
• Review and validate first-article inspections and line clearances
• Identify defects and contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Communicate quality documentation and ensure consistent application of inspection criteria
• Serve as liaison between production and quality departments and support QMS requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations
