Job summary

J &O Plastics, a leading manufacturer of quality custom injection molding, is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee real-time inspection on the production floor and ensure compliance with customer specifications and the Quality Management System.

You will lead in-line audits, review first-article inspections, identify defects, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions while collaborating with the Quality Control Specialist and production teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform in-line audits and inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Review and validate first-article inspections, setup approvals, and line clearances.
• Identify and elevate defects and recurring defects in product, branding, packaging.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Communicate quality documentation and work instructions clearly.
• Lead internal audits of production processes, packaging, traceability and documentation.
• Liaise between production and quality departments to improve quality matters.
• Perform additional duties to support department operations.
