Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a quality inspector to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product conformance. You will monitor manufacturing quality, document results, and use the Quality America SPC database, CMM testing, and prepare nonconformance reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to promote a team atmosphere in the department.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have high initiative.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document first article, in-process, and final inspection of product.
• Monitor quality of product manufactured and complete required check sheets.
• Perform CMM testing as required and reacts to any nonconformances.
• Perform dimensional and functional testing, enter required data into SPC database (Quality America), and react to any nonconformances.
• Report and document nonconformance or potential problems relating to the quality of product.
• Perform essential duties following the Quality Management System and cGMP.
• Assist in audits of product, documentation, and processes.
• Perform sorting and rework when necessary.
• Assist in the training of Inspector Packers and observes their performance for verification.
• Ensure that machine safety devices are not altered or defected.
• Ensures that all safety procedures are followed.
• Must always use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job.
