Job summary

Big Tex Trailers is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Wills Point, TX to ensure trailer quality during manufacturing. You will conduct tests, monitor processes, and identify malfunctions while adhering to PPE requirements and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the plant team to maintain high-quality output, track QA data, and report on KPI performance. This role involves detailed inspections of materials and finished goods and requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds in a

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Checks the quality of trailers by conducting tests, monitoring production processes, and identifying malfunctions.
• Appropriate usage of all required PPE.
• Collaborates with the plant manufacturing team and operations staff to deliver the highest quality product possible.
• Tracks quality assessments to ensure the plant output meets expectations daily.
• Utilizes checklists, standard work, quality standards, engineering standards, and iAuditor templates to monitor the manufacturing process and report on plant quality KPI’s.
• Fires product through the entirety of the manufacturing process to ensure each step is completed as intended.
• Performs detailed inspections of raw materials and final products and confirm they are manufactured to standard.
• Tracks, records, and maintains quality assurance data.
• Performs other duties as required.
