Job summary

Big Tex Trailers in Madill, OK is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to check trailer quality by conducting tests, monitor production, and identify malfunctions, with proper PPE usage.

You will collaborate with the plant manufacturing team and operations staff to deliver the highest quality product, track QA data daily, follow each product through the manufacturing process, and report on plant quality KPIs using standard checklists and templates.

Qualifications

• Organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and maneuvering up to 40+ pounds.
• Exposure to outside temperatures and weather.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Checks the quality of trailers by conducting tests and monitoring production processes.
• Uses PPE properly and follows safety standards.
• Collaborates with the plant manufacturing team to deliver high-quality products.
• Tracks quality assessments to ensure daily output meets expectations.
• Uses checklists, standard work, and quality templates to monitor processes and report KPIs.
• Follows products through the entire manufacturing process to ensure completion.
• Inspects raw materials and final products for conformance to standards.
• Maintains QA data and reports findings.
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Summary

• Checks the quality of trailers for Big Tex Trailers by conducting tests, monitoring production processes, and identifying malfunctions.
• Appropriate usage of all required PPE.
• Collaborates with the plant manufacturing team and operations staff to deliver the highest quality product possible.
• Tracks quality assessments to ensure the plant output meets expectations daily.
• Utilizes checklists, standard work, quality standards, engineering standards, and iAuditor templates to monitor the manufacturing process and report on plant quality KPI’s.
• Follows product through the entirety of the manufacturing process to ensure each step is completed as intended.
• Performs detailed inspections of raw materials and final products and confirm they are manufactured to standard.
• Tracks, records, and maintains quality assurance data.
• Performs other duties as required.
