Our location in Winsted, CT, is currently seeking excellent candidates for:

Blue Light Scanning & CMM Operator on 1st and 2nd Shift! 15% shift differential on off-shift.

Blue Light Scanning is a state-of-the-art measurement system that employs structured light scanning to measure Airfoils and components. This role is a hybrid between Blue Light Operations and CMM Operations for product acceptance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Operate and utilize fully automated ZEISS 3D ATOS 3D non-contact measurement system & Hexagon CMM systems for product acceptance.
2. Follow DRT Quality Procedures & Standard Work instructions to perform duties and remain compliant with our QMS and customer requirements.
3. Prepare & fixture Airfoil for Blue Light Scanning System.
4. Load & unload Airfoil into Blue Light Scanning machine.
5. Review and process scanning files to verify all files are uploaded correctly.
6. Conduct daily and weekly duties such as system calibration, correlation, photogrammetry, and optical lens setup (training provided).
7. Experience with PC-DMIS Software or other CMM measuring systems is ideal.
8. Read & interpret detailed prints and drawings.
9. Set up parts and operate a CMM using PC-DMIS.
10. Support daily Blue Light & CMM operations and throughput.
11. Perform general preventative maintenance on the systems.
12. Maintain traceability of documentation and objective evidence related to the production process.
13. Able to lift 25 lbs routinely.
14. Other duties as assigned.
