Job summary

AAA USA in Wichita, KS is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector for a Direct Hire. You will perform aircraft and component inspections, ensure records and documentation are complete, and approve returns to service in line with regulations.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, drawings, and data, conducting pre-release walk-arounds, and assisting customers as required. 3–4 years of maintenance experience and jet experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of corporate and/or commercial jet experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and aircraft maintenance manuals.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

• Ensure customer-specific and manufacturer documentation is accurate.
• Research drawings and data, including engineering orders.
• Perform pre-release walk-around inspections.
• Assist customers as required.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Job description

AAA USA is looking for a Aerospace Quality Inspector for a Direct Hire position in Wichita, KS!

Job Duties:

• Adhere to General Work Requirements.


• Perform Return to Service processes and approve aircraft for return to service in accordance with applicable regulations and as authorized by the Repair Station Accountable Manager.


• Upon aircraft arrival, obtain associated documentation, inventory and secure all aircraft records as required.


• Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, components, precision tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.


• Inspect aircraft maintenance and in-process inspections for repairs and alterations performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to verify and approve corrective actions.


• Inspect all new, repaired and rebuilt parts/components upon receipt for physical damage, quantity and conformity.


• Ensure all work packages, orders, forms, arrival records and maintenance actions are accurately documented.


• Ensure all applicable customer-specific and aircraft manufacturer documentation is completed accurately.


• Research aircraft drawings and technical data, including engineering orders and other applicable technical documentation, as required.


• Perform walk-around inspections of aircraft prior to release from maintenance when required.


• Assist customers as required.


• Perform other tasks as required.
