We are seeking a Quality Inspector Technician for a long-term contract with a local manufacturing company.

Target Pay: $20/HR

Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist by performing a variety of duties in support of department functions, such as meeting planning, preparing documents, or coordinating activities.
2. Collect, compile, record, or otherwise gather data and prepare standard reports with information necessary for decision-making.
3. Use computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, or scheduling.
4. Perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures.
5. Inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples.
6. Check dimensions and finishes against blueprint or work order specifications.
7. Assist with nonconforming product and root cause analysis.
8. Read and interpret drawings.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Physical ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands, reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
• Must be able to walk or stand on concrete for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus.
