Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Inspector Technician for a long-term contract with a local manufacturing company.
Target Pay: $20/HR
Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist by performing a variety of duties in support of department functions, such as meeting planning, preparing documents, or coordinating activities.
- Collect, compile, record, or otherwise gather data and prepare standard reports with information necessary for decision-making.
- Use computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, or scheduling.
- Perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures.
- Inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples.
- Check dimensions and finishes against blueprint or work order specifications.
- Assist with nonconforming product and root cause analysis.
- Read and interpret drawings.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Physical ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands, reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
- Must be able to walk or stand on concrete for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus.
