Butler America Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector in Everett, WA, to ensure high-quality production through mechanical and cosmetic inspections and strict adherence to quality procedures.

The role involves performing inspections on incoming goods, returns, and assemblies, conducting First Article inspections, and documenting non-conformances for leadership review. The team emphasizes precision, autonomy, and strong communication in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with a team.
• Attention to detail and precision in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Familiarity with 8D reporting and 5 Whys and corrective action reports.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be at the heart of our quality operations, ensuring that production and quality procedures are meticulously followed to ensure 100% quality for the customers. This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals, where you will be responsible for conducting all Quality Inspection and coordination activities in a manner that conforms to company and H&S procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical and Cosmetic inspection
• Provide Quality control activities including new product introduction
• Provide inspection services for incoming goods, returns and assembly
• Document non-conformance's and report major quality issues to leadership
• First Article inspection

Skills and Experience:

• It is essential that the successful candidate have solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
• Technically competent, able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
• Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports. (also essential)
