This position is full-time on-site in Warner Robins, GA and will support the Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) Operating Unit, within the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector. This location primarily supports the design, delivery, and sustainment of embedded software and mission planning systems on various US and foreign airborne platforms. The Quality and Mission Assurance organization is tasked with providing the skills and experience required to support a robust Quality Management System designed to ensure products and services meet or exceed customer requirements and promote mission success. The role involves defining and monitoring mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections on electronic units, subsystems, electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanical units, and sub-assemblies.
  • Conduct in-process, final, and test operations on production items to ensure conformance to drawings, quality management system requirements, and support production contracts and internal work instructions.
  • Perform inspections and verifications on purchased parts and components, including incoming efforts.
  • Witness test verifications and asset sell-offs, ensuring standards and documentation compliance.
  • Assist team members with related actions and suggest process improvements.
  • Monitor compliance to safety and quality requirements, maintaining records of inspections and activities.
  • Work within company policies and procedures, making decisions regarding acceptance or rejection of work, and maintaining records of results.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) plus at least 2 years of related experience or education.
  • Knowledge of IPC-STD 001 or similar standards.
  • Soldering, repair, and assembly experience.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense/DoD secret security clearance.
  • Must work on-site in Warner Robins, GA.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • IPC-J-STD-001 Soldering certification.
  • IPC-A-610 Certification for electronic assembly acceptability.

Salary Range: $29.51 per hour. Compensation considers experience, skills, and current market conditions. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, PTO, and potential bonuses.
