Quality Inspector

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspectorwith commercial C&D check experience on Commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Victorville, CA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspectors will maintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul and troubleshoot commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

This position requires a minimum 3-years heavy jet transport or for entry level 2 yrs. minimum heavy jet transport. Must be familiar with the contents of the ComAv Technical Services, LLC Inspection Procedures Manual, and subsequent revisions. Previous Inspection experience and Quality Audit process procedures a plus. Must have knowledge of FAA regulations and FAR 145, Part 91, 121, 43. A & P Mechanic license required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and be familiar with e-mail and the Internet.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must possess the following strengths: strong leadership skills, organizational skills, detail oriented, and excellent problem-solving skills. Must be able to learn and understand basic technical terminology and concepts related to aircraft maintenance and airline operations.

Standard office equipment including computer, fax, e-mail, voice mail, telephone.

  • Current A&P license required (6 months of documented experience within the last 2 years).

  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • High school diploma orequivalent required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
