Job description

P urpose of Position: QC Inspection of electronic, microprocessor-based systems, and radio communications equipment including Cables and Harnesses.

M ajor Areas of Responsibility:

• Inspect electronic, microprocessor-based systems.
• Inspect Cables and Harnesses per Drawings.
• Ensure that all manufacturing facility processes, and safety guidelines are followed, everyone is a safety officer.
• Ensure that all Assembly Instructions are followed without deviation.
• Support improvement in assembly and production processes by taking all recommendations for change to Production Coordinator/QC Production Engineer.
• Support the timely completion of Work Orders; diligently follow-up and follow-through in all situations to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with work order completion date.
• Perform all tasks as assigned by QA Production Engineer or other members of the management team
• Maintain a clean and organized, clutter free, work area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. (pre-requisite)
• Experience on QC Inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies or cable fabrication (favorable)
• Current or past IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification (favorable)
• Working knowledge of computers, ability to support data collection and daily operations as needed; any additional requirements as implemented. (Microsoft word, excel, computer file system navigation, and ability to save data in multiple forms)

• Additional training may be given to meet future demands of position.
