Position Summary

The Quality Control Inspector I will support the Quality Control Manager in determining that the products shipped to our Distribution Center are conforming to test and customer requirements. This position reports to the Quality Control Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of finished goods shipped to the distribution center.
  • Visually inspect fabric, dimensions, and construction of garments to ensure they conform to test and customer requirements.
  • Record inspection data and segregate non-conforming goods from conforming goods.
  • Follow through on disposition of non-conforming goods and execute any corrective actions as required by management.
  • Execute inline inspections and other quality measures as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing or related field, preferably apparel or textiles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control of sewn goods and hard goods.
  • Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate the quality of manufactured goods.
  • Ability to use a variety of specialized tools and measuring devices.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office software suite.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items—often 30–50 lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier depending on the role.
  • Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, sometimes for an entire shift.
  • Repetitive motions, such as reaching, pulling, pushing, and manual handling of products.
  • Operating or working around machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems (with appropriate training).
  • Tolerating varying environmental conditions, like hot, cold, or noisy warehouse spaces.
Work Environment
  • Tolerance for varying temperatures.
  • Exposure to dust, noise, forklifts, and moving machinery.
