Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Inspector in Salt Lake City, UT to perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies using inspection plans and specifications. The role involves using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers and supporting archival processes.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or GED (AA/Technical degree preferred) and basic computer skills to document results and communicate findings with the team.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies per inspection plans and specs.
• Conduct PCI activities for NA Notifications as needed.
• Support paper document archival process and scanning for electronic archival in Agile.

What’s a typical day as a Quality Inspector? You’ll be:

• Performing accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per inspection plans and specification requirements.
• Conducting PCI activities for NA Notifications at the US Regional Service Center as needed.
• Supporting the paper document archival process, including preparation of pallets for shipment and scanning documents for electronic archival in Agile.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent; an AA or Technical Degree is preferred.
• Possess basic computer skills to regularly access and document information.
• Demonstrate basic written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with team members and comprehend work instructions and engineering drawings.
