Job summary

Trillium Staffing is helping a CNC manufacturing company in Genesee County find a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm, Mon-Fri). The role focuses on testing and inspecting products at various production stages, with a pay rate of $18-20 per hour plus a $2 shift premium.

Responsibilities include receiving and in-process inspections, 1st piece and setup checks, final inspections, 5S maintenance, QA file management, and gauge calibration.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 10–50 lb regularly.
• Basic math including fractions and decimals.
• Basic computer skills to access and save documents.

Job description

Quality Inspector needed for CNC manufacturing company located in Genesee County.

2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday, Pay $18-20/hour depending on experience. Shift comes with $2 shift premium. A Quality Technician is responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process.

Their duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving & Incoming Inspections
• 1st Piece / Set-Up Inspections
• In-process & Final Inspections
• Maintaining a 5S Work Environment
• Maintaining the QA File Structures & Storage
• Gage Calibration

Skills Required:

• Ability to regularly lift and move 10 pounds, frequently lift and move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of measuring devices: calipers, micrometers, height gage
• Basic Mathematical Skills: addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals (minimum 3 places)
• Basic Computer Skills: able to access folders, scan and save documents, type reports
• Must have solid long-term work history, personal reliable transportation, good attendance, and ability to pass all pre-employment screens.
