Position Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for administering the quality functions at a site to ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDSAP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820/211, EU MDR, and other applicable regulatory standards. They support manufacturing and servicing operations by performing incoming component and in-process product inspections using standard measurement equipment. They identify, segregate, and document rejected material and participate in Material Review Boards to ensure proper documentation and disposition. They may also review related quality documentation such as device history or calibration records.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct incoming component and in-process product inspections to appropriate standards.
  2. Perform final inspection and final product release.
  3. Identify, segregate, and document rejected components and materials.
  4. Participate in a Material Review Board to review and process non-conformance reports.
  5. Support NC disposition activities such as re-inspection.
  6. Enter and retrieve inspection and NC data from local and global systems.
  7. Review related quality documentation such as DHRs or calibration records.
  8. Support local problem-solving activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in mechanical inspection or other technical production tasks.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems collaboratively.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with others and support team actions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Excel and Word.
