Job summary

Growve, a leading health and wellness company in Ogden, UT, is seeking a Quality Inspector for the second shift. The role focuses on maintaining QC compliance, reviewing batch records, and inspecting blending, encapsulation, and packaging processes at our Ogden site.

You will ensure quality across raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, adhere to SOPs and GMP standards, and maintain meticulous documentation for investigations and deviations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing in a cGMP environment.
• 1+ years of QA inspection experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems, cGMP, and GDP (Good Documentation Practice).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify quality and safety.
• Adhere to SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain documentation per QC procedures and batch records.
• Inspect incoming materials with specifications; perform visual and measurement tests; review for rejection if needed.
• Review batch records and reconciliations from start to finish.
• Document in-process checks, inspection results, and deviations.
• Create and maintain records of QA activities including logs and sample retention.
• Ensure documentation is retained on proper forms and used for investigations.
• Communicate quality defects with management and cooperate with other production areas.

Position Title: Quality Inspector

Position Overview:

In this role, The Quality Inspector will be managing andmaintainingthe qualitycontrol compliance, reviewing batch records, inspectingproduction including blending,encapsulationand packaging. This role is for second shift at our Ogden location.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurately inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process to verify product quality and safety.


• Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices.


• Responsible for Implementation and upkeep of documentation per QC procedures.


• Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications;conductvisual and measurement tests;initialreview for potential rejection and return of unacceptable materials.


• Review the batch record and the batch record reconciliation from beginning to end of the manufacturing process.


• Meticulously document in -process checks, results of inspection, and any deviations from approved standards.


• Create andmaintainup-to-date records of all quality assurance activities; temperature logs, sample logs,retains, cleaning logs.


• Ensureall documentation of inspection and sample retention of processes areretainedcorrectly on the proper forms.


• Provide any information orretainsamplesrequiredto complete any investigations, complaints, or deviations.


• Adhere to quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements for dietary supplements and nutritional products (cGMP, GDP, 21 CFR 111, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, NSF, GFCO, TGA,etc).


• Responsible for communicating any quality defects with management.


• Ability to work in different areas of production as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+yearof experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing in acGMPenvironment.


• 1+ years of QA Inspection experience.


• Knowledge of quality systems, cGMP, and GDP (Good Documentation Practice).


• Proficient withMSOffice.


• Ability toidentifydeficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives in cooperation with other members of the quality team.


• Ability to interact efficiently with a multidisciplinary team.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Bachelor'sdegree in science is a plus, but not necessaryifprovenindustry skills.


• Knowledge and understanding of the Dietary Supplement Industry.
