Job description

Position: Quality Inspector
Employee Type: Full-Time (2nd & weekend shift)

Polamer Precision is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong understanding of blueprints, inspection methods, and aerospace manufacturing standards. The role involves ensuring aerospace parts meet drawing specifications with the highest quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proficient in use of general and precision measurement equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Knowledge of tight tolerances
• Effective communication skills and self-discipline
• Perform inspections on 1st piece, in-process, receiving, first article, and finished products
• Strong visual inspection skills
• Understanding of Quality Management Standards such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement techniques
• Experience with sampling techniques (AQL levels, sampling tables)
• Proficiency with computer-based applications; training on latest technology/Cloud ERP systems will be provided
• Fluent in English reading, writing, and verbal communication
• Ability to understand and apply advanced mathematics
• Logical and scientific problem-solving skills
• Review and disposition of certification documentation to meet customer requirements
• Disposition and control of non-conforming products
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
• Minimum 4 years of aerospace inspection experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with DQR / SQA processes
