Job summary

Structure Medical, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure products meet specifications through first article, in-process, and final inspections.

You will use precision measuring tools, read blueprints, and help maintain ISO 13485 compliance. Collaboration with QA and Production is essential to resolve issues and improve inspection workflows.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Quality inspection experience in manufacturing; 2+ years preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of precision measuring tools and basic shop math.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 or FDA quality requirements valued.
  • Device History Records experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and Go/No-Go gages; CMM knowledge is a plus.
  • Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming products and assist with non-conformance documentation.
  • Review inspection and test data, identify deviations, and support process validation activities including gage R&R and capability studies.
  • Partner with Production and Quality to resolve issues, improve inspection flow, and support consistent product quality.
  • Support work instructions, MRB activities, QA final release, and Engineering Change Orders as appropriate to experience level.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification is preferred.
  • Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of experience prefer.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of precision measuring tools and a solid understanding of basic shop math.
  • Experience in medical devices, precision machining, regulated manufacturing, ISO 13485, or FDA quality requirements is highly valued.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, follow-through, and the ability to communicate effectively with both Quality and Production teams.
  • Device History Records experience is a plus.
