  • Inspect incoming parts and materials in receiving areas.

Quality Inspector

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure products and materials meet established specifications and quality standards. This position is responsible for performing dimensional and functional inspections, identifying non-conforming products, documenting inspection results, and supporting receiving and return material processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Verify product and material dimensions and specifications using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Perform specialized testing, including hydrostatic, pneumatic, and hardness testing.
  • Complete first-run sample inspections to verify product conformity.
  • Perform round checks on manufactured parts.
  • Identify, document, and reject non-conforming products or materials.
  • Accurately record inspection results electronically.
  • Receive and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Inspect incoming parts and materials in receiving areas.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while following established quality procedures and specifications.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and manipulate tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Regularly communicate by talking and listening.
  • Frequently stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday.
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have close vision necessary to inspect dimensional accuracy and identify surface defects.
  • Must have sufficient depth perception to distinguish different part configurations.
