Job summary

HYVE Solutions seeks a quality inspector to ensure product and process quality through meticulous inspections and adherence to standards. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods, using calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and document findings meticulously.

You will collaborate with production and engineering to root out quality issues, help develop inspection criteria, and support audits. Strong attention to detail and reading technical drawings are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., AQL, SPC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions.
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
  • Assist in internal and external quality audits as required.
