Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to lead a team of inspectors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will implement and maintain quality control systems, ensure compliance with standards, and provide timely feedback to engineering to improve quality documentation and training.

You will oversee corrective actions, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality across all platforms and inspection areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Quality inspection operations.
• Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities to meet customer demand.
• Good working knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Thorough understanding of all platforms, the inspection points and quality processes.
• Thorough understanding of all applicable QC inspection areas.
• Prevent failures passing forward to the customer by ensuring quality inspectors follow training and procedures.
• Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up with respect to quality inspection findings.
• Suggest, implement and support improvement ideas or activities to benefit the product, process or business.
• Work with internal cross-functional manufacturing teams to meet quality standards.

Quality Supervisor

Quality Supervisor manages a team of Quality Inspectors and leads. Develops, implements and maintains the activities of quality control systems with respect to quality inspectors. Oversees implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting company products. Make recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. Provides timely feedback to engineering team to improve quality documents and training. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure all quality policies and training are followed.
