Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead daily activities of quality inspectors and technicians, ensuring production meets ISO standards and customer specifications. You will drive CAPA, audit processes, mentor staff, and partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and advance continuous improvement initiatives.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, SPC, Cp/Cpk.

Quality Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and procedures.
• Review and analyze quality data, inspection reports, and nonconformance trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Ensure proper use of inspection equipment and measurement tools.
• Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and certification activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Develop, coach, and mentor quality personnel to improve technical skills and performance.
• Monitor key quality metrics and prepare reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process efficiency, and defect reduction.
• Participate in new product introductions and process validation activities.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and quality tools.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process capability (Cp/Cpk), and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with ERP and quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Primarily works in a manufacturing and production environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during facility and production floor inspections. Ability to frequently use a computer and standard office equipment. May be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to visually inspect products, components, and manufacturing processes. Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends as business needs require. Requires adherence to all safety policies and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
