Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Inspector in Irving, TX 75038 with 0-2 years of experience in performing incoming dimensional inspections. The role involves GMP/GLP compliance, accurate documentation, and routine inspection of materials for medical device assembly.

The position pays $20–$21 per hour on W2 and may be negotiable based on experience and location. Training and opportunities to work with calibration tools are included, with emphasis on quality system adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and testing operations in GMP/GLP compliance for receiving and inspection.
• Perform duties in line with QS requirements and technical standards.
• Complete Tier 1 inspections per plans for production support.
• Use hand tools and perform visual inspections on inbound materials for medical device assembly.
• May operate more advanced measuring instruments as needed.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation to meet GMP/quality requirements.
• Accept or reject supplier lots based on inspection results.
• Document non-conformances and complete required paperwork and system transactions.
• Initiate discrepant material reports and participate in data collection and trending.
• Recommend improvements to policies, processes, and procedures.
• Perform moderately complex assignments and escalate complex issues to senior quality personnel.
• Support QMS/EMS and regulatory initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to FDA, ISO, environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Akkodis is seeking Quality Inspector in Irving TX 75038. Ideally Looking for someone 0-2 years of experience with performing incoming dimensional inspections.

Pay Range: $20/hour - $21/hour. on w2 The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and testing operations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for receiving and inspection.
• Perform job duties in accordance with Global and Technical Standards and Quality System (QS) requirements.
• Complete Tier 1 inspections per inspection plans and drawings to support production schedules.
• o Use hand tools (calipers, gauges, rulers) and perform visual inspections on inbound materials for medical device assembly.
• o May operate more advanced measuring instruments as needed.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of cable harness assemblies and printed circuit board assemblies.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, documentation, and filing systems to meet GMP and quality compliance.
• Accept or reject supplier lots based on inspection results.
• Document any non conformances related to specifications, procedures, or standards, including completing required paperwork and system transactions.
• Initiate discrepant material reports and participate in data collection, analysis, and trending.
• Recommend improvements to policies, processes, and procedures.
• Perform moderately complex assignments, applying established methods to recurring situations; elevate more complex issues to senior quality personnel.
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to all FDA, ISO, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
