Job summary

Kelly Professional & Industrial is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I in Irvine, CA. You will inspect materials and finished goods to ensure they meet approved specifications, using calipers, scales, thickness gauges, force gauges, and optical comparators.

This position requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of quality experience. Shift is 1st: Mon–Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a safety‑oriented, team‑driven environment and modern equipment.

• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and stay mobile in a plant.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished goods per specs and inspection plans.
• Use calipers, scales, thickness gauges, force gauges, optical comparators and similar tools.
• Document activities in compliance with cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Compare printed materials against master documents to identify discrepancies.
• Communicate with Warehouse and Manufacturing regarding material/component release.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the IQA Inspection Area.
• Manage record retention, filing, copying, and office inventory.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

What’s a typical day as Quality Control Inspector I?

• Utilizing measurement tools and instruments such as calipers, scales, thickness gauges, force gauges, optical comparators, and more.
• Performing documentation activities in compliance with cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Comparing printed materials against master documents to identify discrepancies.
• Communicating with Warehouse and Manufacturing personnel regarding material/component release and movement.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the IQA Inspection Area.
• Managing record retention, filing, copying, and office inventory.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by leadership.
