Job description

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is hiring dedicated and dependable individuals for Quality Inspector positions in Laurens, SC.

Pay Rate: $18/hr, $2.50 shift premium for second and third shift.

Hours: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F); Second Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 PM, M-F); Third Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, M-F).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate product dimensionally and visually to assure that product meets customer requirements.
• Maintain lot identity and appropriate paperwork.
• Pull random samples and perform visual and dimensional audits.
• Sort and inspect non-conforming units.
• Perform verifications of incoming materials (laser blanks, metal for assembly, plastic components).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Read blueprints.

Requirements

• Inspection experience using a microscope.
• Experience operating small equipment.
• Ability and desire to learn and perform metallization application processes and operations.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Must have excellent Hand/Eye Coordination.
• Must have correctable 20/20 vision.
• Standing, sitting, walking, bending, and some lifting.
