Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Quality Inspector in Dayton, OH, to inspect, test, and verify parts against quality standards. You will read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and document results to ensure every component meets customer requirements before leaving the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with gauges, calipers, micrometers, and an eye for detail.-Day shift hours are 1st Mon-Thursday 7 AM - 6 PM, with a pay rate of $20.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Experience using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to inspect parts and identify measurements that are out of tolerance
• Previous manufacturing, machining, or quality inspection experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop additional inspection skills, including CMMs
