What You Will Do:
- Perform “First Piece” inspection throughout assigned Product Group Line / Value Stream
- Perform “Final” inspection throughout assigned Product Group Line / Value Stream
- Assist Product Group Line / Value Stream in quality problem resolution
- Perform in-process audits throughout Product Group Line / Value Stream
- Document all inspection and testing results
- Maintain all document files and test records accurately
- Initiate non-conformance reports and assist in corrective/preventive action report determination
- Perform 100% inspection/sorting as required
- Assist with writing and updating inspection procedures and checklists
- Support actively all H-F Continuous Improvement efforts
- Verify with Gage Calibration that all inspection standards/gages are calibrated and kept up to date
Quality Inspector Position Details:
- 4-day, 10-hour shift, Monday - Thursday, 4:15 pm - 3:00 am (Must be able to train on 1st shift)

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good computer skills
- Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to use and read calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gages
- Understanding of fractions and decimals
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Maintain good attendance, initiative, and productivity
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk most of the day
- Stand for up to 8 hours or more
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Must be able to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers for inspection tasks
- This role is safety sensitive and may require drug testing
