Job summary

Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy, seeks a quality inspector to help ensure compliance across receiving, in-process, and final inspections at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. The role requires reading drawings, performing dimensional and visual checks, and maintaining documentation for traceability and reporting.

Candidates should have basic high school education and at least one year of quality experience, with proficiency in precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1-year of prior quality experience and/or training.
• Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools such as dial and vernier calipers, ID MICS, depth mics, and go/no-go gauges.
• CMM experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the receiving, in-process and final stages of processing.
• Read instructions, drawings, specifications, or sample parts / gauges to determine compliance of dimensions and tolerances of finished work.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection on parts to confirm conformity to drawing and other routing instructions.
• Ensure applicable documentation is complete, i.e., revision status, router sign off, test reports, and computer data entry.
• Retrieve information: bills of material, specifications, procedures, and drawings from database.
• Adhere to standards and procedures regarding traceability.
