Job summary

Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy, is seeking a quality inspector at our Cincinnati, OH facility. You will perform in-process and final inspections to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications and routing instructions, and you will maintain accurate documentation.

You have at least one year of quality experience, knowledge of precision measuring tools, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1-year of prior quality experience and/or training.
• Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools such as dial and vernier calipers, ID MICS, depth mics, and go/no-go gauges, etc..
• CMM experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the in-process and final stages of processing.
• Read instructions, drawings, specifications, or sample parts / gauges to determine compliance of dimensions and tolerances of finished work.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection on parts to confirm conformity to drawing and other routing instructions.
• Ensure applicable documentation is complete, i.e., revision status, router sign off, test reports, and computer data entry.
• Retrieve information: bills of material, specifications, procedures, and drawings from database.
• Perform visual acuity test.
• Adhere to standards and procedures regarding traceability.
• Perform NDT inspection to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the receiving, in-process, and final stages of the process.
