We have an immediate opportunity for an Quality Inspector to join our team in Chalfont, PA location on our day shift.


The Opportunity ...

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for inspecting incoming and in-process materials for quality against specifications and / or drawings

  • Examines materials from suppliers before sending them to production.
  • Approves or rejects incoming parts. Performs inspections.
  • Records pass/fail grade of products.
  • Conduct visual and measurement tests.
  • Read blueprints and specifications.
  • Inspects products received in from a vendor.
  • Uses measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, tape measure, and other means.
  • Returning products for re-work and confirming re-work.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
  • Understands the product as a whole and part.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Education and/or Experience

  • An Associates of Science degree or Technical School Certification or 2 year industry experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering drawings.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as quality inspector.
  • This position requires the following computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • SyteLine, Epicor or comparable ERP system experience preferred
