Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company in Nebraska, Broken Bow, seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to support finished goods testing and visual inspection during the night shift.

You will conduct sampling, document inspection data, and monitor product quality against the latest specifications. You’ll assist with root cause analysis, issue holds, and audits while keeping accurate records in the data management system. English literacy and a high school diploma are required, QA experience preferred.

Job Description

7 PM- 7 AM (4 days on 4 days off)

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts sampling, product testing and visual inspection of finished goods, identifying product defects and non-conformances.

  • Must be familiar with and understand Quality inspection procedures and standards. Regularly monitor product for acceptable quality to the latest product specifications/procedures.

  • Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/testing data and maintains an easily retrievable filing system.

  • Must be comfortable in operating a computer and keying inspections into the data management system. General computer knowledge required.

  • Reads and interprets sampling plans to determine sample size and/or accept/reject criteria.

  • Assists with root cause analysis activities.

  • Issues product holds and pallet identification tickets.

  • Conducts device history, procedural and product audits, as directed by Quality Management.

  • Monitors product and/or process trends at discretion of QA Management.

  • Conducts special sampling and product testing, as required.

  • Collects product/process data for FWO’s, special projects, validations, etc., as required.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous QA experience preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
