Job summary

BD in Broken Bow, Nebraska is seeking a QA Inspector to support sampling, testing, and visual inspection of finished goods. The role requires documenting results and maintaining quality records in a data management system.

The position follows a 7 AM – 7 PM schedule (4 days on, 4 days off) and emphasizes compliance with product specifications and procedures. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior QA experience preferred, and the ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Conducts sampling, product testing and visual inspection of finished goods, identifying product defects and non-conformances.
• Familiar with and understands quality inspection procedures and standards; monitor product quality to latest specifications.
• Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/testing data and maintains an organized filing system.
• Operates a computer and enters inspections into the data management system; general computer knowledge required.
• Reads and interprets sampling plans to determine sample size and accept/reject criteria.
• Assists with root cause analysis activities.
• Issues product holds and pallet identification tickets.
• Conducts device history, procedural and product audits as directed by QA Management.
• Monitors product/process trends as directed; conducts special sampling and testing as required.
• Collects product/process data for field work orders, special projects, validations, etc.

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

• Conducts sampling, product testing and visual inspection of finished goods, identifying product defects and non-conformances.


• Must be familiar with and understand Quality inspection procedures and standards. Regularly monitor product for acceptable quality to the latest product specifications/procedures.


• Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/testing data and maintains an easily retrievable filing system.


• Must be comfortable in operating a computer and keying inspections into the data management system. General computer knowledge required.


• Reads and interprets sampling plans to determine sample size and/or accept/reject criteria.


• Assists with root cause analysis activities.


• Issues product holds and pallet identification tickets.


• Conducts device history, procedural and product audits, as directed by Quality Management.


• Monitors product and/or process trends at discretion of QA Management.


• Conducts special sampling and product testing, as required.


• Collects product/process data for FWO\u2019s, special projects, validations, etc., as required.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous QA experience preferred.


• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
