Job summary

Career Management Group seeks a Quality Inspector I for a full-time role in Woodinville, WA. The successful candidate will support Quality and Operations teams, performing inspections, measurements, and verifications on production and R&D materials.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in a technical GMP/ISO environment, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with measurement tools. CMM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a technical position following good manufacturing practices.
  • General understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency with measurement tools and fixtures such as height gauges, calipers, microscopes, gauge blocks, and optical comparators.
  • General mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills - including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong work ethic & reliability.
  • Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sub-assembly verification, labeling verification, and finished product acceptance activities of production material.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision mechanical and electronic components for production and R&D as needed.
  • Ability to use the appropriate measurement tools for assigned tasks.
  • Generate clear and accurate records of inspection for production and R&D.
  • Attends and participates in department meetings, seminars, and training sessions to maintain/develop certifications.
  • Demonstrates professional competence in the workplace.
  • Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.
  • Provides customer focused interactions.
  • Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector I for an exciting full-time career opportunity in Woodinville, WA.

The Quality Inspector will collaborate with the Quality and Operations Teams to support the rapidly growing manufacturing efforts. Responsibilities include inspecting and measuring components against specifications, identifying defects, conducting quality tests, and performing other verification activities.

Qualifications / Education / Experience (REQUIRED):
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a technical position following good manufacturing practices.
  • General understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency with measurement tools and fixtures such as height gauges, calipers, microscopes, gauge blocks, and optical comparators.
  • General mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills - including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications / Education / Experience (PREFERRED):
  • Two-year technical degree is a plus.
  • Experience in medical device or GMP/ISO environments.
  • Experience operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
