Job summary

B&B Specialties in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and mechanical inspections on threaded product according to established procedures to ensure compliance with requirements.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, proficiency with micrometers and gages, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime and lift up to 35 lbs. Training on inspection methods will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Perform visual and mechanical inspection on externally threaded product per procedures to ensure compliance to product requirements
• Proficient use of micrometers, comparators, tri-rolls, ring gages, penetration gages etc.
• Experience completing AS9102 First Article reports a plus
• Analyze & interpret customer drawings and specifications, and quality system practices
• Basic math skills such as decimals & percentages to meet job requirements
• Accurately record measurements and results on documentation
• Must be results oriented with strong history of delivering results which meet or exceed standards
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically
• Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writing
• Effective team member with sense of urgency to meet schedule requirements
• Excellent attendance record required
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Sitting 90% of shift
• Ability to work overtime including weekends when needed

Brief Description

Quality Inspector performs visual and mechanical inspection on product in accordance with established procedures to ensure compliance to specified requirements

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to accurately perform visual and mechanical inspection (receiving/ in-process and final) on externally threaded product in accordance with procedures to ensure compliance to product requirements.
• Proficient in proper use of micrometers, comparators, tri-rolls, ring gages, penetration gages etc.
• Experience completing AS9102 First Article reports a plus.
• Ability to analyze & accurately interpret customer drawings and specifications, and quality system practices.
• Basic math skills such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, decimals, fractions & percentages to meet job requirements.
• Ability to accurately record measurements and results on corresponding documentation.
• Must be results oriented and motivated self-starter with a strong history of delivering results which meet or exceed standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically
• Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Effective team member with sense of urgency and ability to meet schedule requirements.
